Morehouse Parish - BWA issued Sep 12 for customers Kilbourne Highway east of Water Tank Road, Water Tank Road, Hance Coleman Road, Doles Road, McGinty Road, Armstrong Road, Doc Mayo Road, Holly Ridge Road, Zaunbrecher Road, Elmo Bollich Road, LA ARK Road, Goodson Road, Larrison Road, Norman Matheny Road. Town of Kinder - Allen Parish - BWA issued Sep 11 for all water customers until further notice. Village of Sun-St Tammany Parish - A precautionary boil water advisory was issued 9/12/23 due to a line break HABs based on satellite images from NCCOS HABS Monitoring Program Lake Allemands and Bayou Fortier top the charts for Louisiana 2023 HABs season, having shore to shore bloom in excess of 2 million cells per 100 ml. The 2023 Lake Erie HAB of similar concentration produced a microcystin toxin value 85 X the limit for recreational water suggested by the EPA. No test values are published for microcystin test values for Lake Allemands or Bayou Fortier. Hazardous Spills Unknown amounts of gas and diesel fuel reported spilled from a leaking fuel pump at a dock in New Orleans. The report states fuel stained the dock - no sheen noted on the water
