New Orleans East customers on BWA after a water main break

Safe Drinking Water Advisories
St Martin Parish: Breaux Bridge - Cecilia Water Corporation issued a boil advisory Wed this week for residents connecting from the intersection of Highway 678 near 2747 Grand Point Highway to I-10. Cecilia Water Corporation provides potable water to 12,249 customers in St. Martin Parish from a groundwater source in watershed Region 5.

Orleans Parish: New Orleans had some customers in the East water distribution system on a BWA this week following a water main break on Wednesday. Customers connecting on Morrison Road from Poitevent Ave. to Paris Road, Paris Road from Morrison Rd. to Hayne Boulevard, Hayne Boulevard from Paris Road to 9600 Hayne Blvd. and Poitevent Avenue from Irby Street to Morrison Road were impacted by this order.

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS river monitors in Louisiana

Calcasieu River is back to flooding again in watershed Region 4. The streamflow sensors installed near Glenmora indicate a water level just above minor flood stage 12 feet deep as of 830 am CST. The flow trend is upward, see the black tag on the map to the right for details.
