Strong cold front coming into the region tonight

Hazardous Weather Outlook issued 427 am October 15 by NWS Shreveport

Much cooler and drier air will spill south into the region this evening and overnight with the passage of a strong cold front. However, no hazardous weather is expected.

Very low humidities and gusty northeast winds atop dry grounds will promote an elevated fire danger across the region Wednesday, which will promote the ignition and spread of any wildfires that develop. Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged, even away from areas where burn bans are not in effect. Mild days, cool nights, and dry conditions will continue across the region each day through Monday.
