Coastal Flood Advisory issued by NWS New Orleans 332 pm Mon Nov 19
COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TUESDAY...
Minor coastal flooding of 1 to 2 feet above normally dry ground expected in portions of southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi. Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.

Impacting St. John The Baptist-St. Charles-Lower Terrebonne-Lower Lafourche- Coastal Jefferson Parish-Lower Plaquemines-Lower St. Bernard- Southeast St. Tammany-Western Orleans-Eastern Orleans Parishes in Louisiana Southwestern St. Tammany-Lower Tangipahoa-Southern Livingston- Eastern Ascension-Upper Jefferson-Southern Hancock- Southern Harrison-Southern Jackson Counties in Mississippi

Hazardous Weather Outlook issued 525 am CST Tues Nov 19 by NWS Shreveport
Areas of dense fog had reduced visibility down to one-quarter mile overnight and up to 9:00 AM CST this morning.

Much colder overnight temperatures are expected late this week, with lows in the mid to upper 30s and lower 40s. Preventative actions to winterize and prevent damage to sensitive outdoor property should be exercised. No other hazardous weather is expected at this time.

Impacting Union-Caddo-Bossier-Webster-Claiborne-Lincoln-De Soto- Red River-Bienville-Jackson-Ouachita-Sabine-Natchitoches-Winn-Grant- Caldwell-La Salle-McCurtain Parishes in Louisiana

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS monitoring sites in the rivers and bayous of Louisiana
Overcast, high 81 for New Orleans with a slight chance of thunderstorms today. Above normal to much above seasonal normal streamflows persist through central Louisiana Tuesday, flooding continues in Calcasieu River near Glenmora in watershed Region 4. A 99th percentile flow value is recorded on Big Creek near Pollock in watershed Region 2. The Tensas River - Bayou Macon channel in Region 3 is rated with extreme drought Tuesday. Region 1 west Bossier Parish is rated below normal, all remaining area of Louisiana is drought-free.

Safe Drinking Water Advisories
Calcasieu Parish: Mossville WW District 2 experienced a water main break over the weekend prompting a boil water order for customers on Frontage Road from Ledoux Road east to the end of the line and Parish Barn Road from Mark LeBleu Road south to Frontage Road, until further notice. Mossville WW District 2 distributes drinking water to a population of 660 from a groundwater well source, purchased from another licensed water treatment facility in watershed Region 4.
