Bossier City, Rayville BWAs
Safe Drinking Water Advisories
Bossier Parish: Consolidated Waterworks District No.1 of Bossier issued a BWA for customers on LA-160 east of Fire Tower Rd and Clarkson Rd. This water system serves 3210 residential customers from a groundwater source in Region 1 watershed.
Richland Parish: Rayville was under a boil water advisory over the weekend following repairs to the East Richland Water System on Friday. Customers on Orchard Lane, South end of Highway 852 up to the intersection of Highway 852 and Buckles Road were impacted with the BWA. Rayville Water System serves 4842 customers from a groundwater well source in Region 3 watershed.

Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS monitoring sites in the rivers and bayous of Louisiana
Mostly sunny, high 80 for New Orleans Monday, partly sunny with a high 81 in the northwest says the NWS Shreveport local forecast office. Calcasieu River continues to flood in the upper channel near Glenmora, up another foot over flood stage on the weekend. See the black tag on the map to the right for water level and flow volume details.
The drought map is in a holding pattern since Friday, the Region 3 watershed remains in moderate drought along the Bayou Macon-Tensas River channel down the county line between East and West Carroll Parishes. West Bossier Parish remains below normal. The remaining area of Louisiana is unrated on the drought map.
