WT HAB Tracker from the HAB early detection satellite monitoring program run by National Centers for Coastal Ocean Science (NCCOS)
The latest image upload from NCCOS was captured Nov 27 at a very calm surface condition, 1 mph. Here we see widespread HAB in the south half of Lake Palourde at 600 thousand cells per ml. Black Bay widespread HAB is also visible in this capture, the concentration matching the color scale for 400 thousand cells per ml.
