Streamflow Situation from the network of USGS monitoring sites in Louisiana

A mix of normal to much above normal water levels remain statewide after the weekend, very similar to the scene observed here Friday. Flooding remains in Region 1 Webster Parish, and Region 4 Calcasieu Parish.

Region 1, Bayou Dorcheat continues to flood near Springhill, a foot and a half above flood stage. In Calcasieu Parish, Sabine River is maintaining the flow at around seven inches over flood stage on the Texas-LA border. See black tags on the front page map for details. Calcasieu River runs a foot and three inches over near Glenmora.

Mostly cloudy, 37 degrees in New Orleans, the expected high 43. Fair and freezing at Shreveport, 29 degrees, the high 41 under clear, sunny skies.

Safe Drinking Water Advisories
Livingston Parish: Ward 2 Water District issued a BWA last week Tuesday following repairs to a water main at the intersection of Juban Road and Brown Road. Customers under the boil order are located southeast of Denham Springs, all addresses on Juban Road from Brown Road to Spillers Ranch Road; all connections on Brown Road from Juban Road to Spillers Ranch Road. Water customers on Spillers Ranch Road and Ashland Bend Drive are not affected by this boil order.

Ward 2 Water District has a very clean operational record with the EPA. Enforcement and Compliance History Online shows no violations, no non-compliance matters in the last three years. The facility provides potable water to 73,506 Livingston Parish residents from a groundwater well source in watershed Region 7.
